About RT-TEM-2025
Thermal Energy and its Management is a crucial area in various industries, including power generation, automotive, aerospace, electronics, and renewable energy. The need to reduce carbon emissions, enhance energy efficiency, and develop sustainable energy solutions calls for innovative approaches in thermal energy systems. This e-STC addresses key challenges and opportunities in the thermal field.
The course is particularly relevant now due to:
Increasing demand for energy efficiency: Industries across the globe are seeking to optimize energy use and manage thermal systems more effectively to lower operating costs and meet sustainability targets.
Advancements in technology: Emerging technologies such as hydrogen energy systems, solar thermal applications, and advanced cooling systems require knowledge sharing to keep researchers and industry professionals updated with recent breakthroughs.
Global energy and environmental challenges: There is an urgent need for new solutions to reduce carbon emissions, minimize waste heat, and transition to renewable energy sources.

Primary Objectives
This course is intended to achieve the following objectives:
To explore current research trends in the field of thermal energy and management, focusing on areas such as thermal management systems, hydrogen fuel technologies, solar thermal energy, etc.
To provide participants with technical knowledge and practical insights into the latest innovations in thermal systems for improving energy efficiency, heat transfer technologies, and sustainable energy practices.
To foster interdisciplinary collaboration, connecting researchers, professionals, and students from diverse backgrounds to discuss advancements in thermal energy storage, battery thermal management systems, and advanced heat transfer techniques.
To promote sustainable energy solutions, emphasizing the importance of green technologies like solar thermal energy and hydrogen-based energy systems in the context of global climate goals.

The e-STC targets audiences interested in Green and sustainable energy as future carriers. It is well suited for students majoring in masters and Ph.D. Scholars of Thermal Engineering, Energy Technology, Material Science & Engineering, and Faculty members from educational institutes.
